Services Solu-tex Inc. formerly operated under the name of Conceptual Technology DAJ Inc. This company was founded by Daniel Jutras in 1998 to offer engineering consulting services in the pulp & paper and aeronautical fields. The founder was involved in the design of a small unman vehicle for Canadair (now known as Bombardier Aerospace) and a large pulp refiner driven by a 30,000 hp (22 Mw) motor for the Canadian company, Hymac, that became afterward Kvaerner Pulping. As the engineering director of Kvaerner Pulping, the founder was involved in equipment improvement to reduce their manufacturing cost. The vocation of the company was changed in 2005 to create associations with experts in order to offer unique solutions to the market.

Services Solu-tex is now commercialising products and services from around 10 specialised suppliers and is working with large industrial organisations to find appropriate specialists that can deliver solutions to resolve their most complicated problems.
